Japan’s best Instagrammable spots for Golden Week

Have you already decided on the GW?

The weather is good, and you want to go somewhere, but many people are worried about where to go.

In this article, we introduce photogenics pots across Japan that can be seen only at the time of the GW.

In this year, why don’t you visit the scenery created by nature and rediscover the beauty of Japan?

(Information is available at the time of publication.

We recommend that you make an advance check at the official site for details.)

Koiwai Farm / Iwate Prefecture

The Koiwai Farm in Iwate Prefecture, one of Japan’s largest private farms, is a place where people can spend their time in the midst of nature, for example, by occasionally touching animals, experiencing various activities in nature, and cooking with ingredients grown at Koiwai Farm.

Koiwai Farm is also known as a famous cherry blossom spot in Iwate Prefecture, and it is usually viewed during the Golden Week period.

Japan's Wisteria is Recommended After Enjoy Cherry BlossomsIt's sure that cherry blossoms are famous for foreigners. However...

In particular, the cherry blossoms planted in the Meiji 40s are worth seeing.

The scenery of a single cherry tree standing dignified on a grand green ground against the backdrop of the mountains where snow remained is truly beautiful.

National Hitachi Kaihin Park / Ibaraki Prefecture

The National Hitachi Kaihin Park in Hitachinaka City, Ibaraki Prefecture, is a park where people can enjoy a variety of activities, including hands-on learning, cycling, and eating.

This is a spot for people who like flowers, who are proud of flowers of various kinds throughout the year of spring, summer, and winter, to visit once.

Nemofila enters such a national Hitachi Kaihin Park from mid-April to early May.

The scenery where the hills are dyed vivid blue, and the sky blue and the sea blue are perfectly blended is amazing.

Goat Park / Saitama Prefecture

Shiba cherry trees planted on one side of the vast site in Chichibu City, Saitama Prefecture, are famous for flowering from mid-April to early May, and they are welcomed around the Golden Week.

The pink color of turf cherry blossoms is bright and pretty, and you can feel spring.

The Shiba Cherry Festival will be held from April 17 (Friday) to May 6 (Wednesday), 2020.

It’s also a good thing to be able to see nine different types of turf cherry blossoms from dark pink to light pink at a time.

Each petal has a pretty shape like a heart, so please watch it carefully.

Beautiful Forest / Niigata Prefecture

“Beauty Forest” is a beech forest with a tree age of approximately 100 years in Tokamachi City, Niigata Prefecture.

This forest was cut once in the early Showa period, but it grew again at the same time and appeared straight and beautiful, so it became known as the Beautiful Forest.

Now it is one of Niigata Prefecture’s famous sightseeing spots.

Autumn is a beautiful forest with red leaves, winter is a snow scenery on one side, and seasonally varies in appearance.

By the time of Golden Week, you can see beautiful new greenery. The scene of beech forests in mirror-like ponds is fantastic and cannot help but take pictures.

Tateyama Kurobe Alpen Route / Toyama Prefecture

The Tateyama Kurobe Alpen Route is a mountain tourist route that connects Toyama Prefecture and Nagano Prefecture.

Various vehicles, such as buses, cable cars, and ropeways, can be used to enjoy the natural beauty of the Northern Alps.

Because of the snow cover in winter, the entire line will normally open around mid-April (in 2020, from April 15 (Wednesday) to November 30 (Monday)).

The spot here is the “Otani of Snow.

“The walls of large snow created by removing snow from heavy snowfall zones, which cover about 6 to 8 meters of snow every year, are covered with pressure.

At the Otani Festival in Kurobe, Tateyama (Wednesday, April 15, 2020 to Monday, June 22), you can walk between the walls of the snow, so please experience nature in the near future.

Hanamomo no Sato/Nagano Prefecture

“Hanamomo no Sato” is a spot where people can enjoy flower peach in Achi Village, Nagano Prefecture.

Flower peach is an ornamental peach that flowers from mid-April to mid-May.

Here are the three-colored peaches blooming in red and white pink, showing us a beautiful gradient.

At Tsukigawa Onsen Sato Hanamomo no Sato, you can enjoy peach while walking.

The Flower Peach Festival was held from Saturday, April 18 to Wednesday, May 6, 2020, to sell local agricultural products and processed goods.

There’s also a drive course called “Hanamomo kaido,” and you can enjoy it from the car window.

Serakogen Farm / Hiroshima

At the Serakogen Hiroshima Farm in Hiroshima Prefecture, you can enjoy cherry blossoms, tulips, sunflowers, and other seasonal flowers in spring.

The Tulip Festival, held on Wednesday, April 15-Sunday, May 17, 2020, is now full of colorful tulips such as red, yellow, and white.

Japan’s largest tulip festival using about 750,000 tulips is truly photogenic.

Since the design varies every year, I’d like to visit you many times.

There are many events such as stamp rallies and rice cakes during the Golden Week, so please check them again.

Niyodogawa/Kochi Pref

The Niyodo River, which flows through Kochi Prefecture, originates in Ehime Prefecture and is one of the three major rivers in Shikoku, along with the Shimanto River and the Yoshino River.

The more highly transparent the water quality ranking in Japan, the more beautiful blue is called “Niyodo Blue.”

Among the many scenic spots, the most recommended is Nikobuchi, which is located upstream of the river.

The waters flow vigorously from the waterfalls, forming mysterious waterfalls.

When you come around lunchtime, the sun reflects on the water, and you can see a vivid blue illusion.

Kawauchi Fujien / Fukuoka Prefecture

Kawauchi Fujien, located in Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture, is famous for enjoying brilliant purple Fuji(wisteria), and many tourists, both in Japan and overseas, visit the site.

Wisteria is around to be seen from late April to early May, and it coincides with the Golden Week period, so it is a spot that I would like to go there once.

The most obvious thing here is the Wisteria tunnel, which appears as soon as you enter.

You can see the flowers of various kinds and colors.

In order to avoid congestion, tickets are required to be purchased at a convenience store based on pre-booking.

If you visit, please prepare a ticket early.

Yurigahama/Yoronto island, Kagoshima Prefecture

Do you know Yoronto island in Kagoshima Prefecture and Yurigahama in the offshore of OKANEKU Coast?

It is a sandy beach that usually appears only in the dry season from spring to summer.

The scene of a white sandy beach floating on a highly transparent sea is truly scenic.

It’s also valuable and exciting to see where you don’t always see it.

Collaboration between the blue sky and the white sand, the emerald green sea, is breathtaking.

It is said that picking up only a few stars’ sand will make you happy. The official “Yolrn Island Tourism Guide” contains information about the high incidence of tide level predictions, so please refer to them for your plan.

Let’s go out to take pictures of the scenery!

This time, we introduced 10 Instagrammable spots nationwide that we wanted to go to GW.

How did you feel?

There are many scenery that can only be seen at this time.
