The carpet of Nemophila with a light blue color
The “Uminonakamichi Seaside Park” is the fifth national park established nationwide in “Uminonakamichi” that is located across Hakata Bay from the urban area of Fukuoka City.
The area is about 300 hectares, and it’s very wide!
In addition to the seasonal flowers that can be enjoyed all over the year, there are many areas such as the Animal Forest and Children’s Square, so this park is a place where you can enjoy a memorable and wonderful day.
The Marine World, an aquarium that was renovated in 2017 under the theme of the Kyushu Sea, is in the immediate vicinity.
At this nice “Uminonakamichi Seaside Park,” from mid-April to early May, a pale blue sweep of Nemophila can be enjoyed in the “Hana no Oka(flower hill)” area of the park.
The 1.5 million Nemophila carpets blooming on a 15,000-square-meter site are at first glance valuable.
There are small hills with solid walkways, so you can enjoy beautiful scenery from various angles.
As it is a short flower of Nemophila, you can see it even if a small child enters.
Seen from a low position, you seem to be walking in the sea of flowers.
You can’t let go of the camera here because you can take beautiful pictures.

In the park, it blooms with a variety called “Insignis Blue,” also known as “Ruri Karakusa.”

However, it is a very popular nemophila carpet, so it is inevitable that it will be crowded if it is a holiday during the period.
