Enjoy the vividly blooming autumn flowers
The Uminaka Flower Festival is held every autumn.
This is a ceremony of flowers that bloom in autumn all over the vast site.
It is a festival of flowers where autumn flowers are in full bloom throughout the vast site.
There is also an area where autumn cherry blossoms and blooming cosmos bloom all over, so you can enjoy flower carpets, enjoy the contrast with the blue sky, and find your favorite spot.
One of them is Hana no Oka(flower hill), where 1 million cosmos and 5,000 Kokia plants bloom from early October to late October.
A fantastic world is spreading like a flower garden in a picture book.
Kokia are planted around ponds and fountains around the “rainbow and colorful flower beds”.
Kokia, which gradually turns red from green, is one of the attractions that you can enjoy the gradation depending on the day you visit.
You can enjoy from various angles, such as the color of Kokia and the collaboration with the fountain.
In addition, there are flower beds that can enjoy colorful celosia and cosmos, and flower beds that express the Hakata Ori pattern with marigolds and zinnia, so you can enjoy autumn flowers everywhere.
Autumn roses are available from late October
Between late October and mid-November, the rose and flower museum will be filled with 1,200 shares of approximately 220 varieties.
It can also be seen in spring in the Uminonakamichi Seaside Park, but autumn rose orchards are also recommended.
Each rose has its own distinctive flavor, such as a sweet aroma or a slight spicy smell.
Even though it is a rose, it does not smell as intense as perfume, but heals the heart with a soft scent.
At the same time, events are being held, and the general election for the aroma of roses is being held.
Would you like to find one of your favorites out of about 220 varieties and vote?
