Speaking of food in Fukuoka, mentaiko, ramen and motsunabe are fomous.
However, gyoza is also one of the local popular food.
Especailly, tetsu-nabe(iron pot) gyoza which is burned on the iron pot is famous in Fukuoka.
Let me introduce 3 recommendations of gyoza shop around Hakata Station.

A Bite Gyoza in Temujin
Gyoza provided by Temujin is relatively small, so it’s called one bite gyoza.
Its size is almost same as like thumb.
Since the gyoza is made of plenty vegetables and not pig meat but beef meat, the taste is easy taste.
So, it’s popular among women in Hakata.
Temujin was opened in 1963 and they have been keeping the taste even now.
Both lunch time and night time are available.
Eating gyoza with beer is definitely awesome in my individual opinion.

Hakata Gion Tetsu Nabe
“Hakata Gion Tetsu-nabe Gyoza” is the gyoza shop which provides gyoza burning on the iron pot.
If you order it, a iron pot filled with gyoza will be served.
Note that unless you order for more than 3 servings, gyoza won’t be filled on a pot like below.
Since Hakata Gion Tetsunabe doesn’t sell their gyoza on the internet, department store and airpot, you can eat only at the shop in Hakata.
People including tourist from overseas are often waiting in front of the shop.
It means it’s such worth waiting to eat.
Please feel free to wait because the rotation of the customer is fast.
