The whole city has a taste, and wherever you walk, you can feel the beauty of nature and people as they used to be.
But this is not the only attraction of Kyoto.
Now, let me introduce a spot that is more attractive to Kyoto than you would like to visit on my second trip to Kyoto.

1. Ishibekoji / Higashiyama ward, Kyoto City
The first introduction to is “Ishibekoji” located in Higashiyama ward, Kyoto City.
The road connecting the Yasaka Shinto shrine and Kodai-ji Temple was built during the Taisho period by breaking down a part of the garden of the Entokuin.
It gives you a modern atmosphere of stone tatami.
“Ishibekoji” is prohibited from traveling by car, so you can enjoy a leisurely walking street with Kyoto.
The landmark for the road into the “Ishibekoji” is an electric light such as a gas lamp.

2. Okazaki Shrine/Sakyo ward, Kyoto-shi
The next is Okazaki Shrine in Sakyo ward, Kyoto.
The shrine is also known as the “Rabbit Shrine,” and there are many rabbits scattered around the grounds, including the “Dog” and the “Dog rabbit.”
In New Year’s Day, the “Rabbit omikuji” is so popular that it will be sold out.
There is a lottery in the rabbit.
After the lottery, the rabbits are all aligned together.
It’s very pretty to see the long-lined, chocolate-sitting rabbits.

3. Shogunzuka Seiryuden/ Kyoto Urban Yamasaka District
The next introduction is the “Shogunzuka Seiryuden” in the Yamashina district of Kyoto City.
This is a new famous spot on the top of Mt. Higashiyama in Kyoto in 2014.
From the top of this mountain, you can see the streets of Kyoto, and from the Nishi Observatory to the Osaka area.
Kyoto is a perfect spot for those who want to enjoy the streets.
You can enjoy the lighted streets of Kyoto at night.

This is a new place for Kyoto night scenery.

4. Tadasuno Mori Forest/ Sakyo ward, Kyoto-shi
followed by the introduction of the “Tadasuno Mori” in Sakyo ward, Kyoto.
Shimogamo Shrine is said to be the oldest in the Kyoto.
The vast virgin forest on the journey is called the “Tadasuno mori.”
The entire area of the forest is protected as a national historic site.
The silent landscape, also known as the PowerSpot, is surrounded by greenery, with mysterious atmosphere.
If you walk on a colored path, you will be comfortable both your body and your mind.

5. Sagano Trolley train / Ryokyo ward, Kyoto City
The next is “Sagano Trolley train.”
The Trolley train from the Arashiyama area to Kameoka offers a beautiful view of the Hozu Gorge Valley.

6. Byodoin/Uji City
The next is Byodoin in Uji City where It’s a place that is also designed for 10-yen coin and is very familiar to the Japanese people.

Also, night lights up is held in autumn.
The redness of the autumn leaves and the redness of the Byodoin are illuminating and very beautiful, as they are lighted by the warm lights of the lights-up.

7. Saihoji/Saikyo ward, Kyoto-shi
The next is “Saihoji” in Nishikyo ward, Kyoto.

The area around is covered with moss, and the garden filled with greenery appears to be unexpectedly inspired.
It is sometimes called “moss temple” and can be immersed in a world that cannot be seen anywhere else.

8. Nanzenji/Sakyo ward, Kyoto-shi
The next is Nanzenji Temple in Sakyo ward, Kyoto.
It is a temple of Mt. Daimoto in the Shinzenji sect of the Rinzai sect.
There are many facilities on the grounds, including three gates and Hojo gardens.
Especially, the front garden of Hojo is famous as a representative dry mountain and water garden in the early Edo period.
Suirokaku is registered as a designated cultural property in Kyoto .
A building made of bricks, and incorporating Western arches.
At first glance, you can take pictures that are not known to be Kyoto.

9. Ine’s Shipyard Group / Yosa-gun
The next is Ine-cho’s “Ine’s-Shipyard Group“.
There are 230 shipbuilders houses standing side by side, and you can watch the scene with a sense of nostalgia.
It is also selected as an important preserve area for groups of traditional buildings, and Kyoto lovers are visiting.
The Ine’s-Shipyard Group is a perfect spot for adult journeys to Kyoto.
Let’s spend a relaxed and elegant moment in a very quiet space, watching the shaking of the boat in the sea.
